It never rains, but it pours on us women: inequity in access to water in Mexico and Central America

This webinar will look at the intersection of gender and water access within the context of climate change and forced displacement. It aims to highlight the often-overlooked impact of water scarcity on women, particularly in rural communities where traditional gender roles and economic disparities worsen the issues. Panelists will discuss the challenges of integrating the gender perspective into water policies, health impacts on the implications of inadequate potable water, and the role of women’s leadership in advocating for water access.
