TOOLKIT

“Covid-19 Relief for All, Stop the Exclusions!”

February 3, 2020  — Join Alianza America on Action Wednesday for our “100DaysOfAction” with #AlianzaAmericas, a collaborative effort by Alianza Americas member organizations across the U.S. working together to achieve pro-immigrant changes in policy and law. For today’s  Action Wednesday, we will focus our efforts on ensuring that all persons, regardless of immigration status, are included in every part of the COVID-19 relief proposals currently being considered in Congress. It is essential that all persons are protected and included in each part of  relief provided by the COVID-19 relief proposals Congress is currently considering.

Please join us by sharing our graphics and adding your voice to efforts across the country! You can find our tools below.

Talking points

  • Economic and medical support included in any COVID-19 relief bills must include all persons living in the United States.
  • Everyone should have access to testing, vaccines, and healthcare, as we face the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
  • These extraordinary times, call for inclusive and decisive actions.
  • We are organized and united to fight for justice for our immigrant communities.
  • Immigrants in our communities are essential workers.
  • Immigrants are essential workers caring for our children and the elderly. They cultivate the food we eat and provide transportation and cleaning, as well as many other essential jobs. Immigrant families deserve to be included in all COVID-19 relief efforts.
  • Black, immigrant, and communities of color are being disproportionately impacted by the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and should be included in any relief effort.
