Alianza Americas, along with our member organization Strangers No Longer, organized an 11-day tour named “Youth Leaders across Borders” in Illinois and Michigan. Tour participants included Maggie Loredo and Leni Álvarez, from “Otros Dreams en Acción”, and Fernando Trejo of the “Soy Vida” project. The tour highlighted the impact of deportation and the role of street art and community organizations as a response to violence and stigmatization.
